I've had dogs around me my whole life, growing up with them. Over the years, I've rescued and cared for three wonderful dogs, and I've learned how to cater to the unique needs and personalities of each of them.For the past 4 years we have a lovely Podenco named Darko who is super friendly and loving to other dogs. We welcome vaccinated pets of all sizes into our sunny flat in Mitte, where they'll feel comfortable and safe. Whether it's going for walks, feeding, playtime, or just being a friendly companion, we're here to make sure your pet feels happy and loved.Our daily schedule, further that the regular gassi/walks, often is including a long forest walk usually at Midday. We do have a van and we are driving at beautiful forests in or close to Berlin.&nbsp;

ich bin 22 Jahre alt und Biologie Studentin aus Berlin.&nbsp;
Meine größte Leidenschaft und Interesse sind und waren immer Tiere und Tierrechte. Ich kümmere mich eigentlich seit meiner Kindheit um Tiere und fand sie schon immer wundervoll und faszinierend und habe sie in jeder Hinsicht als gleichwertig mit uns gesehen. Seit ein paar Jahren setze ich mich daher auch für Tierrechte und Veganismus ein und war nach Abschluss meines Abiturs, ehrenamtlich mehrere Monate auf zwei Lebenshöfen und einem Therapiehof, wo ich mit Tieren verschiedenster Art und Größe gearbeitet habe und viele Erfahrungen sammeln durfte! :)
Vor allem Katzen waren seit meiner Geburt immer Teil meines Lebens und unserer Familie und ich habe dadurch sehr viel Erfahrung im Umgang mit ihnen. Ich bin mit drei Katzen aufgewachsen und vor zwei Jahren haben meine Mutter und ich außerdem eine Mutterkatze in Not und ihre vier erst 10 Tage alten Kitten aufgenommen und großgezogen. Die vier Kleinen beim Aufwachsen zu begleiten, war eine der schönsten und lehrreichsten Erfahrungen meines Lebens!&nbsp;
Das hat meine Liebe zu Tieren nochmal verstärkt und die Leidenschaft, mich um sie zu kümmern und mich immer besser in sie hineinzuversetzen und zu versuchen, ihre Bedürfnisse und Kommunikation immer besser zu verstehen.
Wir hatten nie einen Hund in unserer Familie, aber trotzdem habe ich auch mit ihnen viel Erfahrung und viel Zeit verbracht, da meine beste Freundin einen Hund hat, auf den ich oft aufgepasst habe und um den ich mich gekümmert habe. Und auch sonst waren Hunde immer Teil meines Lebens und Umfelds. Ich fühle mich also auf jeden Fall auch in der Lage auf Hunde gut aufzupassen und sie zu versorgen zu können und tue das sehr gerne. Und auf Katzen sowieso und sehr gerne!
Ich habe außerdem Erfahrung mit Hühnern, Rennmäusen, Kaninchen, Meerschweinchen, Degus.. durch meine Arbeit auf Lebenshöfen. Und betreue auch gerne andere Tiere, habe da nur weniger Erfahrung.&nbsp;
Welche Art/Charakter spielt für mich dabei keine Rolle, es ist mir nur wichtig zu wissen, um mich auf das Tier so gut wie möglich einstellen und seine Bedürfnisse gut erfüllen zu können.
Ich bringe viel Geduld und Ruhe mit und den Vorsatz, diese Aufgabe und Verantwortung sehr ernst zunehmen und auf jedes Tier individuell einzugehen und mich den Wünschen und Bedürfnissen des Tieres und ihren Besitzern anzupassen.&nbsp;
Ich hab außerdem insbesondere Erfahrung mit älteren Katzen, sowie mit Kitten in jedem Alter von der Geburt an und der Zusammenführung von Katzen, die sich noch nicht kennen.&nbsp;
Ich traue mir auch zu besondere Aufgaben zu übernehmen (wie z.B. Medikamente geben etc.).
Dauer des Besuchs: je nach Wunsch und Absprache /bis zu zwei Stunden

Nicht zu vergessen, liebe ich es einfach sehr Zeit mit Tieren zu verbringen und würde mir gerne viel Zeit zum spielen, kuscheln oder einfach Gesellschaft leisten nehmen. :))

Hi there!My name is Marla, I´m 25 years old, originally from the Ruhrgebiet (Essen) and am student - so quite flexible with my time!I always had dogs around me growing up - my family dog was a lovely Corgi Mix. The past years I lived in Barcelona and was a very active Dog sitter there (via Rover, a different website). I was able to dog walking and also over night sitting, and both the pups and their owners were always very happy with the time we spend together! After Barcelona I volunteered in my local animal shelter for a while - taking care of dogs and cats as well.
I just moved to Berlin and would love to continue dog sitting here - I have a lot to explore and a Vier-Beiner would make an excellent companion on my walks :). I'm open for all kinds of dogs regarding age or size, as long as I can make sure of a save environment for everyone!

Für mich sind Hunde weit mehr als nur Haustiere – sie sind treue Begleiter, Familienmitglieder und echte Persönlichkeiten. Schon seit vielen Jahren begleiten Hunde mein Leben, und meine Liebe zu ihnen ist mit der Zeit nur noch stärker geworden. Zeit mit Hunden zu verbringen bedeutet für mich nicht Arbeit, sondern etwas, das ich wirklich gerne und mit viel Herz mache.
Mir ist wichtig, dass sich jeder Hund bei unseren Spaziergängen sicher, entspannt und gut aufgehoben fühlt. Deshalb beginne ich immer mit einem kurzen Kennenlernen, bei dem ich mir Zeit nehme, deinen Hund, seinen Charakter und seine Gewohnheiten besser zu verstehen. Gemeinsam besprechen wir, was deinem Hund besonders gut tut – zum Beispiel Tempo, Lieblingsrouten, Spiel oder Training.Während der Spaziergänge achte ich darauf, dass dein Hund ausreichend Bewegung bekommt, aber sich gleichzeitig wohlfühlt und nicht überfordert wird. Je nach Hund gestalte ich die Gassirunde unterschiedlich: Manche Hunde genießen lange, aktive Spaziergänge mit viel Bewegung und Spiel, andere mögen es ruhiger und erkunden lieber entspannt ihre Umgebung.Mir ist außerdem ein ruhiger und respektvoller Umgang sehr wichtig. Ich achte auf die Körpersprache deines Hundes und gehe individuell auf seine Bedürfnisse ein. Sicherheit steht dabei immer an erster Stelle – besonders im Umgang mit anderen Hunden, im Straßenverkehr oder in neuen Situationen.Auf Wunsch halte ich dich natürlich auf dem Laufenden und schicke dir gerne kurze Updates oder Fotos vom Spaziergang. So weißt du immer, dass dein Hund eine schöne Zeit hatte und gut betreut wurde.Mein Ziel ist, dass sich dein Hund auf unsere gemeinsamen Spaziergänge freut und du ihn mit einem guten Gefühl in meine Betreuung geben kannst.

I am Leandro and have recently moved to Lisbon after spending a couple of years in Germany and Australia. I am living in Lisbon, next to the beach. I have a regular job, but love travelling and love dogs. I currently have an adopted dog called Johnny, wihch is a mix breed. My parents also have a Pinscher and a Pit Bull that get along very well. Since I love dogs, I am interested in helping other pet owners by dog walking or checking in on pets during the time you are out. I would be very happy to take your dog for a walk around parks, so they can spend their energy walking, playing and sniffing around. I can also come to your place to support you bathing and administering medications to your pet. If you have an elderly pet I am also happy to visit your place and spend some time with your beloved pet, so it can get some entertainment instead of walking long distances. From time to time I cannot offer Dog boarding, but look forward to finding a place for this tasks in the near future. Her name is Flecki, she is a 6 year-old Chihuahua My schedule is pretty flexible after 5 p.m. and I am also available during weekends. - I don't have restrictions regarding pets sizes or ages as long as they are not aggressive with people unknown.Walks, feeding, street poop cleaning, treats, belly rubs, and lots of love are included!
- At the moment I am not taking pets at home but there are plans to do so in the near future. Don't worry, in the meantime, I am free to spend how much time you think that your puppy deserves of my company!

In Ireland, I had the pleasure of caring for a German Shepherd and Great Dane for a family who loved vacations, so big dogs are no problem. I grew up with a Labrador named Neo for 14 years of my life, and I also had a rescued Pomeranian named Gizmo for the last 3 years of his life. We still have a family dog, a three-year-old energetic whippet named Scooby.
