Hi!My name is Léa, I am 25 y.o., and I have loved animals ever since my youngest days! I grew up close to the city, but always surrounded by nature. I started horse riding when I was 9, in a place that valued the well being and the understanding of animals over riding for fun or competition. This has always stayed a priority for me, and I know that animals are a big investment of time, energy and love! My family also has a cat, and we took care of a dog for about two years. Now you know: no matter what animal you have, it will be in good hands!
I now live in Berlin with my girlfriend who grew up with a two dogs in the Polish countryside. We both miss the contact of nature and animals. I feel at peace around them and seeing them happy makes me happy!&nbsp;
Unfortunately, my style of living does not allow me to get my own pet: I travel and change jobs a lot. That is why I am offering my service as a pet sitter. I will make sure that your furry friends are loved, well-fed and get plenty of attention! I live just next to a big park where dogs can exercice, and have a cosy balcony where your pet can enjoy the sun. I work only a few days per week and have a lot of free time to be with your pet! My name is Lily, and I have been a lifelong animal lover and advocate for the well-being of pets. I currently have 2 wonderful cats, Toulouse and Nino, whom I rescued with my partner. I also had a beloved Yorkie for 20 years until her recent passing. Over the years I've been privileged to care for various pets, including an African hedgehog, and I have a strong family connection with my parents, who share their home with 5 rescued cats and dogs. 

My motivation to be a pet sitter: 

My motivation to become a pet sitter stems from my genuine love and compassion for animals. Having experienced the joy and fulfillment that pets bring into our lives, I am committed to ensuring that they receive the love, attention, and care they deserve when their owners are away. 

My experience: 

I have experience in caring for animals of various species and temperaments. Throughout my life, I have been actively involved in rescuing and rehabilitating pets, ensuring they have a healthy and happy lives. My time spent with the African hedgehog has given me insight into the care of exotic animals, and my experience with my beloved Yorkie taught me the joys of caring for dogs. Additionally, the shared experience with my partner and family in rescuing cats has given me practical knowledge in handling diverse needs, behaviors, and challenges that come with pet care. 
Do I only take vaccinated pets? 
Preferably. As well as I can't take pets into my own home, I am more than willing to provide care in the pet's familiar environment and ensure they remain comfortable and secure. 

I have recently moved to Berlin and am really missing my family dog Pablo who is a 1.5 year old Labrador/Collie mix who is full of energy and bundles of fun!
I would really love to be able to take dogs on walks, train them and play with them or can entertain them at home if you prefer. I have a flexible schedule so can stay for the duration of time you would like - anywhere from 20 minutes to a few hours with your pet. I am available in the mornings and afternoons through Mon-Sun.&nbsp;
I'm used to dealing with energetic and witty dogs like pablo as well as being around setters, beagles and spaniels so feel comfortable with energetic or chill dogs and am up for any challenge! If it is a home visit I am also comfortable watering plants, administering medication for your pet, teaching them tricks or grooming them.
I am happy to follow walking routes that you recommend or can let you know where in your area I plan to take your pup as I am happy to commute throughout the city not only in my own area!
A little more about me...I graduated last year with a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Queen's University Belfast (Northern Ireland) and have a years experience working in a high pressure corporate environment as a Policy Advisor, I'm 23 years old and love being out in nature, swimming, climbing and running!
