Dear mammas and papas of fur babies,

I am in Leipzig to work as a researcher on animal behaviour. I have worked professionally with animals my whole career, I frequently petsit for friends, family, and extended network of acquaintances. Because I travel a lot for work, I cannot unfortunately have some fur babies of my own, so I would like to give my love to other dogs, cats or other pets, and taking care of them while their parents can't or just giving their parents a bit of a break! :)

I am originally from Portugal where I have had fur (and also other types of pets) babies in the family ever since I can remember. I have lived and worked in the UK, Belgium, Japan, Egypt, Ireland, and Germany, where I petsat for fur babies on a regular basis.

I am looking forward to meeting the fur babies of Leipzig!

I can offer you the following services as a petsitter:

1. Visits at your home including weekends and weekdays.

2. Boarding at my home and overnight stays (if there are no vocalisations issues).

3. Go to your home to feed, pet, play, etc. when you are away (just a few hours per day, no overnight stay).

4. Go for extended walks in the park near your house, play sessions, etc., (Although please note, not on a permanent everyday basis).

5. If you go away on holidays or for a period of extended time, I can petsit for you, but without overnight stay.

6. I know other pets in Leipzig, so socialisation sessions are possible (e.g., doggy play date in your house or park, cat introductions, etc.), but only after a month of me knowing your baby. 

7. Socialisation sessions with other people are also possible, except with children.

8. Once I know your fur baby and they know me, I can do last minute petsitting if you need.

9. I take only one pet or household at a time, so if I'm scheduled to walk your dog(s), it will be ONLY your dog(s).

10. First meet up is free, so we just get to know each other (with you present!) and see if we are a good match. Preferably including a short walk with you and your baby :)

What I CANNOT offer:

- Everyday walks on a permanent basis (I will only do it for you when you can't because you are away, too busy, too tired, etc. I am not replacing you as fur parent, only stepping in for those occasions you have too much going on!).

- Grooming of any kind (except if this is part of the petting, e.g. brushing hair during walk).

- Training (I can do basic training, but this would have to be arranged separately once I know your dog).

- Overnight stays at your home.

I don't speak German yet, so English is the language used for communication. I speak a couple of other languages if needed as well.

Please note that the overnight boarding at my home, if for more than one day, the price includes 2x walks a day. If more walks or other services are needed, they need to be booked separately. If only one night without walks, you can book the daycare price.

For long overnight boarding or daycare, please bring your dog groomed (washed, brushed, etc.).
