Hi there! I am Giada, and I am a huge pet lover! 

I love pets because they bring joy, comfort, and unconditional love. Caring for them fills me with purpose. 
Each pet is unique, and being able to help them thrive is truly rewarding.

I grew up with cats, and as soon as I was able, I rescued my first dog—a sweet but unfortunately traumatized greyhound. With lots of love and care, she turned into the most wonderful companion.

Since then, I have rescued three more dogs: two playful puppies and a lovely older dog that I am taking care of. I even had the chance to volunteer at a dog shelter in Spain for a whole year, and I worked as a dog walker and sitter in three different countries.
I have had experience with traumatized dogs, dogs with behavioural issues as well as dogs who needed treatment, so I am totally comfortable in these situations.

Naturally, all of these amazing experiences have helped me become really experienced in pet care, and I absolutely love being surrounded by furry friends!

My name is Dana, I'm 20 years old and recently got back from living abroad in the US as an Au Pair. All my host families had dogs or cats, mostly labradors, and therefore I grew to love caring for them and wish to have my own once done with my studies. When I was younger I used to have two parrots and canarians.
I'm started my Psychology BSc at HHU and would love to spend my free time being with furry beings. I love taking them for walks and staying home with them to play. So far I have taken care of Labradors, Golden Retrievers and Poodle-mix but I'm open to any dog breads! I can adjust to both, calm or playful.
With my schedule I'm very flexible. I can offer training if needed. When at home with pets I will definitely be able to water plants or bring in the mail. The duration of my stay can be discussed upon scheduling visits. For dog walks I would consider nearby dog parks, forests and whatever your dog's favorite route is! I will make sure your pet is in best hands when you're away and call if any issues arise.

Way back in my home country, I have taken care of my pets. I have one dog and one cat. They are just so adorable and takes my stress away. My dog's name is Summer, and my cat's name is Winter. Leaving home, saddens me that I couldn't take care of my pets anymore. Fortunately, my lovely mom takes care of them. I still check on them from time to time.  Spending years here in Germany without my bestfriends(my pets) is just hard for me. Finding out this website made me so happy. The empty space in my heart will now be filled by taking care of your adorable pets while you are away. I see this as an exciting way of having pets in my spare time. I have over 9 years of experience volunteering with an animal rescue, where I care for both dogs and cats, support their daily routines, and help them prepare for adoption. I have also worked as a foster home, taking care of animals until they find their forever families. As a cat mom, I know how worrying it is to leave your baby with someone for the first time, therefore during my care, I will keep you updated with regular messages, multiple photos, and videos to ensure your pet is happy and well cared for.
I will stay over for over 30 minutes, to make sure your kitties are fed, their litter box is cleaned out and they are happy and played with. Belly scratches are included, but are pretty much optional (free of charge! :))

Idealerweise kann ich auch ihre Streu reinigen, wenn ihre Eltern für längere Zeit verreisen. Ich habe zwei Katzen, obwohl ich Katzenhaarallergie habe, also nehme ich Antihistaminikum direkt bevor ich Ihren Platz besuche, um mich um die Katze zu kümmern.
