Hello! My name is Bella, I'm 24 and currently doing a Master's in Transcultural Studies as an international student in Heidelberg University.
I have been surrounded by animals all my life — I grew up with cats, hamsters, and even a few rescued kittens that my mother and I took care of. My mom is a veterinarian and has been working as a pet sitter occasionally, so I learned early how to understand animals and care for them with love and patience.
Besides more recent experience, I successfully pet-sat a cat this July while the owner was away for a week, and I truly enjoyed it! Hopefully, the cat did too :) She is a playful young cat who did very well living with someone new instead of her owner for the first time.My friends call it my "superpower," but I believe that I just happen to be in the right place at the right time and taking responsibility for an animal that needs attention and help. Recently I helped rescue a lost cat who climbed up a tree and cried, and the other time I was the first one to notice a cat who fell out of the window, called the vet and stayed with the cat until the owner showed up. These moments taught me how to stay calm and patient in difficult situations.
Animals usually feel comfortable with me — even shy or grumpy cats. You can see it in the photos: the ginger cat enjoying scratches is normally quite unfriendly, yet she’s completely relaxed with me; and the cautious striped cat, though careful, clearly feels safe nearby. I truly believe in my ability to understand cats' boundaries because that's what they value most (after the food, obviously ;)). Since I can't get my own cat yet, I would be happy to take care of yours! I currently live in a shared apartment, so I offer pet-sitting at the owner’s home.&nbsp;


Hi! I'm Rocío. I'm 26 and come directly from the South of Spain. There, we always shared our home with pets. So I'm super used to them and I cannot imagine my life without them around. When I was little, Dino, a small dog, was the love of our lives. That's when I understood the importance of having four legs around. Later, I grew up with Nora, our prettiest love, who will always be. Living with pets is not only about taking care of them and enjoying them, but I really feel they are the ones who make us feel loved and important. Sharing life with those little buddies is the best feeling ever, and this could be one of the most rewarding jobs here.
My free times are mostly in the morning from Monday to Thursday, then afternoon and evening on Friday and Saturday and Sunday the whole day! Hi! I am Debbie and I was a long time cat owner. Unfortunately I do not have a privilege to take care of my babies anymore however I still would love to cuddle some from time to time. Cat sitting is giving me this opportunity . I am respectful of your space, will be taking care of your pets as of my own ones before. I have experience with younger and older cats, playful and lazy ones, sick and healthy ones. In case any medical attention needed, would be able to drive to vet or give them medication. mein Name ist Esther und ich bin 19 Jahre alt und wohne in Heidelberg. Ich arbeite montags mittwochs und freitags von 9-14 Uhr. Ich bin bereits mit großen Hunden (einer Deutchen Dogge und einem Berner SennenHund )aufgewachsen und kann somit sehr gut mit Hunden umgehen. Ich gehe oft und gerne spazieren und würde mich über eine Begleitung sehr freuen . Ich wohne in der Weststadt und habe ein Auto mit dem ich schnell alles erreichen kann falls etwas sein sollte oder jemand kurzfristig meine hilfe braucht. Wenn sie sich in Heidelberg oder auch im Umkreis von Heidelberg wohnen wäre es am besten da ich so eben auch spontan mal einspringen kann wenn sie einen Termin haben.  Ich bin sehr hilfsbereit Und organisiert und freue mich sehr neue Leute und tiere kennen zu lernen. Schreiben Sie mir gerne wenn sie übers Wochenende wegfahren oder einen Urlaub geplant haben, dann würde ich sie gerne kennen lernen und mit Ihnen alles persönlich klären. Ich habe Erfahrung mit Hunden, Katzen und Meerschweinchen. Wenn sie ein anderes Tier haben schreiben sie mich gerne ebenso an und wir können besprechen ob das ebenso klappen könnte. Ich wohne 10 Minuten zu Fuß von einem Wald entfernt und fahre ebenso oft in den Wald um dort spazieren zu gehen. I have a dog named Xiao Bao ( means little treasure in Chinese) back in China who is a Chiwawa and is 11 years old now.
