Top cities for cat sitting in Germany

Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Kreuzberg Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Kreuzberg cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Kreuzberg cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hi, my name is Pedro! I'm an Environmental Engineer, 28 and I moved to Berlin in 2024.
I grew up surrounded by pets in my house as a kid, sice we lived far from the center we had a huge terrain that made possible for us to enjoy company of all kinds of pets, from ducks, roosters and turtles to our dogs, cats and hamsters inside. I've been close to animals ever since, and developed many ways to connect and care for them always respecting their personal space and caracteristics.
Now, here in Berlin, I'm read to proportionate the same love I've always gave my own pet friends to your buddies at the confort and safety of their own place.
I can speak English, Portuguese and Italian but I'm still learning Deutsch, so if that's your preferred language I would kindly ask for us to communicate through written communication.

Don't hesitate to contact me for further questions about my services.

Hi there,
I'm a vet working in shifts in Berlin and I'm spending summer here but I don't have any animals at the moment.
In case you live close by and you need your cats fed sometimes or even medication given I'll be up for it.
I've also done my postgraduate in animal behaviour, so that's why I am quite experienced also with difficult animals.
I'm looking just for cats that are close by, unfortunately for dogs I don't have enough time, but if it's simple stuff and if my work plan matches I might consider it .
I'm still not sure if the app is okay, but I was going to give it a go and just check out
just get in touch, and we can see if we can come to compromise .

I speak several languages so just hit me up.

Hi you'll,
My name is Shira manor, originally from Israel, the mother of 8 year old pitZy my mixed best friend.
We have been together for 7 years now, and loving every moment of it, even moved to this cold country together.
I spend most of my time as a designer working online from home, so I have plenty of time to cuddle with pitZy as much as I want which is a life long dream. That also mean I have plenty of time to cuddle with your babies as and it's safe to say I love ALL animals, more then that I love to cuddle.
I also have plenty of experience watching cats (and dogs) and walking dogs, but if you give the right instruction I can take on any animal.
Some technical details about my service:
While I spend some time with your pet whether walking it or Just playing in your house, I will take care of food, water, medication if needed and some energy release. I can also help with plants, mail, and any other mass you pet has left over.
A basic visit/walk will last about 30 minutes and I can amend my price accordingly if you feel like more time is necessary for your pet. I can also do a few hours close watch on your pet or daycare at your place.
I'm available most hours of day and very flex with my hours so I can fit my time to your needs, I'm working online so If you have WiFi I'm set!
Unfortunately my pitZy is a jealous princess, so I can't bring your babies into my home, but that doesn't mean I can't watch them anywhere else.
Do not worry, while I'm spending time with your pet, my amazing partner is giving pitz the attention she needs.
My rates are fair and I'm willing to make some deals for regular pets so never hesitate to ask or consult.
If you are interested simply just give me a call and we can test our chemistry in person :)
Hope to meet you soon
Shira

Hi, I'm Deniz! I believe animals are an integral part of the world we inhabit. I had my own dog for over 10 years: a black Labrador I rescued from a shelter in Turkey when she was just 2 months old. She became the center of my life for over a decade, and losing her only deepened the devotion I have for all animals. Caring for other people's pets has become a way to keep that part of my life alive, giving them the same love and attention she got.
I've been petsitting in Berlin for over 5 years, so I'm very accustomed to adapting to different personalities, routines, and habits: from anxious rescues to bouncy puppies to laid-back seniors. I'm comfortable administering medication, caring for senior or special-needs pets, reinforcing basic commands, and handling puppies (including their extra energy). I pay close attention to each pet's individual needs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
What I offer:
- Overnight boarding at my home in Hasenheide/Kreuzberg, right by Hasenheide Hundepark — one of Berlin's best green spaces for dogs, with a huge open field and wooded trails - Dog walking, solo walks tailored to your dog's energy and age — brisk loops through Hasenheide for high-energy dogs, slower sniff-heavy strolls for seniors or anxious pups- Cat sitting/boarding
Days are built around what each dog actually needs: a mix of walks, play, rest, and calm downtime, adjusted whether they want an active, social stay or a quieter, low-key one.
I live in an apartment with a medium-sized outdoor area, take up to 4 pets at a time, and can provide emergency transport if ever needed. Before we start, I'd love to hear about your pet's routine, leash habits, and any commands or quirks so I can keep things consistent for them.

Nik
