Hello! I am Alexis, and I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I have always had pets: dogs, cats, horses, and fish. However, I do not currently have pets of my own in Germany, and I would love to fill that void in my life by helping pet owners in my area by providing care or pet-sitting services.My experience is based largely on owning my own animals, but I have also been pet- and house-sitting many times for others since I was a teenager, and I would be happy to corroborate this with references. When I was in the USA, I was a foster for dogs and puppies for a student-led rescue, and I also volunteered at an animal shelter. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and activity levels, and often go on jogs or hikes with my dogs when I am home in the USA. I also have experience with pets dealing with health issues that require medication, special food, specific bathing, etc.
I believe that pets should be vaccinated to the degree that is possible, with respect to their age or particular situation.

Meine Erfahrung beruht größtenteils darauf, dass ich meine eigenen Tiere besitze, aber ich habe seit meiner Jugend auch viele Male für andere auf Haustiere und Häuser aufgepasst, und ich würde dies gerne mit Referenzen belegen. Als ich an der Universität war, war ich ein Foster für Hunde und Welpen für einen Studenten-geführten Rettung, und ich habe auch ehrenamtlich in einem Tierheim. Ich habe Erfahrung mit Hunden und Katzen jeden Alters, jeder Größe und jedes Aktivitätsniveaus.
Ich bin der Meinung, dass Haustiere so weit wie möglich geimpft werden sollten, je nach ihrem Alter oder ihrer besonderen Situation.


I'm a Colombian Mechanical Engineer who loves pets, specifically dogs and cats. In Colombia I live with an Afghan Hound and a Cat. They are my family and taugh me how to be organized and fulfill a daily routine.&nbsp;I usually approach very easily and quickly to dogs. I learned several training skills (based on positive feedback) while raising the afghan hound in the pictures. I've been raised always with a dog around the house and I am used to different breeds. I have take care of friend`s dogs including siberian huskies, weimaraner, border collie, cats, and two beauties  in the pictures; usually for some days or weeks, even months. So, I would adapt to the personality and needs of your pet (either dog or cat)&nbsp;If requested I can give medicine to your pets or any special treat that you used to give them. My name is Silvia Mendoza, I am from Colombia and I am doing my master's degree in environmental chemistry at Bayreuth. I have a pet in Colombia called Sacha that I consider part of the family for so many years of company, I also had other pets (fish, hamsters during my childhood). I think I am a great candidate to take care of any pet, as I have also had experience here in Germany while being an au pair (part of my job was taking care of the families' pets). On the other hand, I have no problem administering medications if necessary and requested in advance and if it is necessary to send photos during my visit to verify that your pet is having a great time, I will do it with pleasure, I can also take it for a walk or even if it is necessary to take it for veterinary routines. It is a job that I enjoy a lot since it is love and company that I also receive, so I will take care of your pet as part of a family.
I have availability for the entire month of December and January&nbsp; between&nbsp; on the other hand if it is necessary to spend the night to take care of your pet, I can also administrador medicaciones to your pet if it is ask to and I can also spend the night or bring the pet to my place if it is asked to.&nbsp;


Hallo an alle, die genau so sehr Hunde lieben, wie ich️Ich bin mit einem Hund aufgewachsen und durch alle möglichen Situationen im Leben gegangen! Deswegen freue ich mich total auf die Möglichkeit, meine Zeit mit einem Hund verbringen zu können. In Coronazeiten habe ich die ganze Tage zu Hause verbracht, um auf meinen Hund aufzupassen, so habe ich viel Erfahrung gesammelt - und vor allem Geduld für die Hunde entwickelt. Jetzt, während meines Studiums und seit dem ich nicht mehr zu Hause so oft sein kann, bräuchte ich mehr Kontakt und Energie, die Hunde mir bringen - deswegen habe ich mich für Dogsitting entschieden! Hier in Bayreuth habe ich schon paar Freunde, die mich öfter darum gebeten haben, auf ihren Hund aufzupassen, und es war die schönste Zeit für mich.  Meine Präferenz wäre auf einen mittelgroßen oder großen Hund aufzupassen, da mein eigener Hund auch so groß ist, aber seitdem meine Eltern einen Welpe adoptiert haben, habe ich noch Erfahrung mit den kleinen Hunden gesammelt. Ideal wäre für mich natürlich, wenn ich bei euch zu Hause auf den Hund aufpassen könnte, da mein Zimmer in der Wohnheim nicht so groß ist. Freue mich auf die Möglichkeit, euch mit dem Hund zu helfen!&nbsp;


Ich bin eine kolumbianische Biologiestudierende mit einer verrückten und bedingungslosen Liebe zu Tieren. Ich bin umgeben von Haustieren aufgewachsen, obwohl ich im Moment keine habe. 

In Kolumbien habe ich mehr als zwei Jahre lang als Freiwillige bei Compasión Animal gearbeitet, einer Stiftung, die sich der Pflege, Rehabilitation und Vermittlung von heimatlosen Hunden und Katzen widmet.


Dank meiner Erfahrung als Biologiestudentin, meiner eigenen Haustiere und meiner Jahre bei der Stiftung kann ich mich liebevoll und aufmerksam um Ihre Haustiere kümmern. Dazu gehört auch die Dosierung und Verabreichung von oralen Medikamenten, und obwohl ich keine zertifizierte Trainerin bin, kann ich Ihrem Haustier körperliche Aktivitäten bieten, die zu seiner guten körperlichen Verfassung und ausgezeichneten geistigen Gesundheit beitragen. 

Ich halte mich für eine verantwortungsbewusste Person mit den notwendigen Werten, um die richtige Person zu sein, die sich um Ihr Haustier kümmert, während Sie im Urlaub oder auf einer Geschäftsreise sind. Ich kann während meines Besuchs minimale Pflegeaufgaben in Ihrem Haus übernehmen, wie z. B. das Gießen der Pflanzen und das Leeren des Briefkastens, wenn ich um eine Vollzeitbetreuung gebeten werde, bin ich in der Lage, Ihr Haustier die ganze Zeit in Ihrem Haus zu betreuen und alle notwendigen Sicherheitsvorkehrungen zu treffen.


Im Moment habe ich meinen Deutschkurs abgeschlossen und ich habe noch ein wenig übrig, um an der Universität einschreiben, so habe ich viel Zeit zu spielen und kümmern sich um Ihre Haustiere, meine Pflege Zeiten sind flexibel, morgens und nachmittags Besuche und auch die Verfügbarkeit für die Vollzeitbetreuung (Tag und Nacht). 


Ich bin ein aktiver Mensch, der genau wie Ihre Haustiere Energie verbrauchen muss, so dass das Spielen mit ihnen und das Spazierengehen immer auf meiner Tagesordnung stehen. Die Mindestdauer eines Besuchs oder Spaziergangs beträgt je nach Fall zwischen 45 und 60 Minuten. Während dieser Zeit kümmere ich mich um Ihr Haustier, sorge für Spaß und fördere gesunde Aktivitäten für Ihr Haustier, überprüfe bei Besuchen auch den Status des Futters und die Bereitstellung von Medikamenten oder spezieller Pflege, die im Voraus vereinbart wurden.
