I have been taking care of cats since I was 15 years old. Back home in Portugal my family has three cats, which were rescued by my mother and me at the time. My 5th birthday gift was a puppy and I haven't been living without a dog since. Something about me: Last year, I moved to Berlin, before my Berlin adventure I lived in Malta for a year. In Malta there were lots of animals everywhere (even a cat park). So, there was not a problem to cuddle with lots of animals. I love to walk in my freetime and spend time at home. At the moment, I am starting to set up my own business (at home, from my computer, love 2024), so there is lots of time to cuddle and walk with dogs, cats, or any furry friend.&nbsp;
Now the most important part: do I have experience with cats and dogs? Yes! I'm a godmother of my best friends Frenchie. He is adorable and we can lay on the couch for the whole day. Besides that, my aunt has a cat, he stayed with me for a long time.&nbsp;
If you are looking for a (temporary) home for your fur baby, I have the perfect place in Spandau. There is a big park here and our apartment has a lot of space for them to run around. We will walk at least for half an hour. 
My availability is in the morning and afternoon, unless, it is a home visit. During the home visit, I can stay for a longer time because, I work from home. When the furry babies are with me, I will go for walks and they will be groomed.

I volunteerd at the dog shelter, where Iwalked the dogs which unfortunately sit at the cages all the time andhelped to take them to the hospital when the animals need it. I wouldlike to be able to safe all animals on the planet from thepeople`s cruelty, hunger, cold and pain. So I regularly donating tothe dog and cat shelters, when I cant help them physically. 
I have a two cats (who is vacctinated of course) and love them as Iwere their real mother. Also I`m sitting with animals of my friendsand friends of the friends. 
&nbsp;I know from my own experience how anxiously and uncomfortably to leavethe beloved pets with a stranger, but I can guarantee your pet willbe in loving, caring and responsible hands. I`m punctual, flexibleand delicate. Also I will send you a lot of pictures of your pet if you want me to.

I have had my dog since I was 8 years old and took care of her every day since then until I moved to Paris for my studies. But I miss having a dog to take care of, which is why I'm here (:
I'm a full-time student but have most of my classes online, so I would be available for walks in the afternoon throughout the entire week and dog-sitting overnight at your place at the weekends. As I am studying management my availability times can vary a lot and I am rather flexible because they depend on my courses and the amount of homework/lectures each week. Generally, I can go pick your pet up from your home if you wish so and then drop it off after a walk in the nearby area, if you wish to do it differently, we can discuss this via chat.
I will pay close attention to the individual needs of your pet and promise to take good care of him/her to make us both happy.
I also have experience with smaller animals such as Guinea pigs or rabbits and also cats, as I have taken care of them for my friends sometimes.&nbsp;
As I was introduced to all sorts of animals at an early age I have developed an understanding of them and can easily build a connection. I am able to train your dog if you wish, as I did so with my own too.
If you have any special requests or if your pet has any specific needs I will of course be adjusting myself to these. Please do let me know all the important details of your pet at our first meeting. Otherwise, I will be happy to take your dog/other pet on a walk with or without a leash as you wish and play fetch with them or other stimulating games. My dog walks are typically 45 mins to one hour long but we can discuss the length after getting in touch.
As for house sitting this depends as well on the amount of studying material, but I would be open to it and of course, the security and happiness of your pet would be my highest priority.
I speak English and German fluently and have a level B2 in French.
I would like to bring animals back into my university life and this is the perfect way of doing so for me!

Ever since I can remember we had a family dog.
Mostly from the animal shelter or from a nearby farm. 
Four years ago I moved to Berlin and since my family is still living in the south of Germany I don't see or walk our dog as often as I would like to. 
Just before Corona hit I was thinking of asking the animal shelters if they need help but then the whole world stopped and this plan was put on hold.
Recently a good friend of mine told me about Pawshake and here I am trying it out.
Currently I'm living in a spacious ground floor shared flat - also with a cat - located close to the lovely Rehberge park and next to the canal, surrounded by plenty of green spaces to walk around. We have a little private garden and a small park for dog walkers and sports activities, outside our front door.  
Since we're having Iris the cat we would need to check if overnight stays will work out, but generally Iris is a very chill cat.

I recently moved to Berlin with my cat. Her name is Moura and she is from a shelter. I love taking care of pets and playing with them. I have always had cats, but I also love dogs and other pets.
I looked after the cats of friends and strangers from telegram chats, simply because I really like it. It is especially pleasant to take care of pets that currently need you. They miss their owners, and I share my love with them. And of course, this is an opportunity to meet new wonderful people, like-minded people.
So I can take care of the pets: feed, clean up, playing and walking with dogs. I can take home a vaccinated neutered male cat as I know that two girls can start sharing territory. My cat has already lived with other male cats and everything was fine.

Becoming a pet sitter is something I've always wanted to do as I always loved dogs and I've been growing up enhoy their company and taking care of them. Despite the demands of writing my thesis and my ongoing internship, I find pure joy in spending time with our furry friends and I'd like to use pawfriends to do so!
