Currently I look for a new job but would like to spend some time by taking care of pets. We of coursed moved here also with our 3 cute pets, 1 rabbit and 2 guniea pigs.
I love animals and taking care of them. Since I was a child we always had some animal at house eg. fish, turtle, parrots, hamsters, guinea pigs and finally a dog. We had this small yorkshire puppy and it was me who took care of him from the start. Now he is 8 years old and lives with my parents but we of course had some troubles and I had to take care of him. I used to also babysit a friends dog at her house while she was on vacation.
Someone would say that with guniea pigs and rabbit it is easy but the truth is that they are like children and need special care. I taught how to take care of them when sick or just trimming claws.&nbsp;
I could say I have a lot of experience with animals as pets and of course taking care of them from the medical point of view. I am resposible, loving and friendly with all types of pets, I love dogs as well as cats so I am the perfect match for you.&nbsp;
I prefer English when speaking but I am learning German and hope to be fluent one day.


Hallo, ich bin Sophie 22 Jahre alt und komme eigentlich aus Hamburg. 2021 bin ich für mein Studium der Tiermedizin nach München gezogen und seit dem fehlt mir der Kontakt zu Tieren sehr.Ich bin mit Hunden aufgewachsen und habe so Erfahrung mit Hunden allen Alters, vom Welpen zum blinden, tauben und dementen Senior.Ich konnte bereits viele Erfahrungen im betreuen fremder Tiere in den unterschiedlichsten Modellen sammeln.&nbsp;Vom versorgen von Nagern, über Haussitting bei Katzen, oder nur im besuchsmodell, bis zum Hundesitting nur als Gassirundengänger oder auch mehrere Tage am Stück, im Besitzerhaus oder als Gasthund bei mir.Hier habe ich viele verschiedene Hunde bereits betreut, vom Terrierwelpen zum Labradoropi. Besonders viel Erfahrung habe ich mit Hütehunden wie Bordercollie und Australien shepherd, da wir selber erst eine Bordercollie-Münsterländer und jetzt eine Bordercollie-Australien shepherd Mischlingshündin als Familienhund hatten und ich als langjährigen Sitterhund einen Australien shepherd rüden miterziehen durfte.(Unsere Hündin mit hellbraunem Gesicht und mein Sitterhund mit dunklem Gesicht, sind auf den meisten Fotos zu sehen)Ich arbeite ruhig und konsequent aber immer liebevoll mit den Tieren und bring auch gerne Tricks oder Kommandos bei, je nach Tier mit dem Clicker oder anderen gewaltfreien Methoden. Da unsere Hündin als Junger Hund sehr unsicher war, konnte ich auch hier viel lernen, einem Hund Sicherheit zu vermitteln.Ich versuche immer mit dem Besitzer an einem Strang zu ziehen und so den Personenwechsel für das Tier so einfach und stressfrei wie möglich zu gestalten.Wenn ich Ihr Interesse geweckt habe, freue ich mich über eine Nachricht!Unter der Woche, in der Vorlesungszeit, ist eine längere Betreuung, in der Regel, nur dann möglich, wenn der Hund ein Paar Stunden alleine bleiben kann, oder mit in die Vorlesungen kommen kann.Die Voraussetzungen sind hier, dass der Hund kein Problem mit fremden Menschen, Hunden in Sichtweite und mit dem Ubahn fahren hat.Auch einen Hund der dieses zwar mit macht, aber hierbei viel Stress hat, könnte ich dann nicht betreuen, da ich das dem Hund gegenüber nicht fair fände.

ME: I relocated form Helsinki to Munich last spring to move in together with my German fiancé. I'm studying German (B1.2) and speak native level English. We live next to Englischer Garten in a 60 m2 apartment with a balcony on the second floor. My fiancé spends most days at his office and I work alone from home for a Finnish architecture firm called ALA Architects. Monday through Friday I can only do max 45 min walks during the day because of work. I love all animals and I have always wanted a pet. Right now I travel too much to get one, but I promise to care for yours like it's my own!
DOGS: My parents have two chihuahuas and I'm very used to taking care of them a for weeks at a time. I've also taken care of my sister's and friends' small dogs for up to three nights at a time. I'm most comfortable taking care of small dogs as they are what I have experience with (papillons, japanese spitzs, russian toys, havaianas and chihuahuas).
OTHER ANIMALS: I am a huge feline fan, but I don't have experience with taking care of cats yet. I'm very willing to learn! I used to have my own aquarium in Finland so I am well experienced with taking care of fish and aquariums. I rode horses for eight years, so I also know a thing of two about their care. I'm facinated with all living creatures and with proper instructions I feel confident in looking after any pet that comes my way!

I have spent most of my life in Munich and until recently worked fulltime at the doggy-daycare in Munich.&nbsp;However, I am on a years leave as I have had a baby. I'd love to continue working a little on the side, and if that means I can help you guys take care of your four-legged best friends, then so be it.I have always worked with animals, and have a dog of my own too- Tai - who loves everyone and everything and makes for a fantastic life partner.I speak fluent German, I just prefer writing/speaking in English which is why this has been written in English.I've grown up surrounded by animals, cats and dogs alike and am fairly flexible in terms of offering walks, home visits etc. At the daycare I would normally walk between 5-7 dogs, and depending on the owners wishes they would be on or off leash: both I am super comfortable with.&nbsp;I feel perfectly comfortable administering medicine, as I have worked with street dogs in various coutries before where this is necessary and can say with confidence that this is something I can offer and do properly.&nbsp;I normally go on two big walks a day, anything from an hour up to 3 hours, depending on the destination we stay out for most of the day and then only do a small 30 minute round in the evenings. Darunter waren auch Dobermänner, Huskys oder Richbacks.
