Pet sitting only bunnies

I am Athina, originally from Greece and after living in different countries in Europe, I moved to Munich more than a year ago for professional reasons. In love with the city! 🥨

I have been a bunny owner since 2021 and caring for my two rabbits, Neville and Luna, has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. They taught me what it means to give unconditional love and how unique the bond between a person and their pets can be. The love and care we give our animals is unlike any other, and I believe they deserve to be treated as cherished family members.

Through caring for my own rabbits, I have gained extensive knowledge of their needs and behaviour. I made sure they were vaccinated, sterilised, provided with a healthy diet of fresh vegetables and unlimited hay, enrichment toys, and plenty of affection and playtime. I am also familiar with proper rabbit handling and understand when rabbits should and should not be picked up to ensure they feel safe and comfortable.

I exclusively offer rabbit care, as I prefer to look after the animals I am truly familiar and experienced with. Rabbits are sensitive animals that require specialised care, and I want owners to feel confident that their bunnies are in knowledgeable and loving hands.

Before any booking, I would be happy to arrange a video call so we can get to know each other and discuss your bunny’s routine, personality, and specific needs. Building trust and ensuring a good match is very important to me.

I am generally flexible and available throughout Munich and the surrounding areas for pet-sitting, unless I have personal commitments that require me to be out of the city. I will always communicate my availability in advance.

I promise to care for your bunny with the same patience, affection, and attention that I gave Neville and Luna. Their well-being, safety, and happiness will always be my top priority.

Practical details:

• I can visit up to twice a day. Ideally morning before 9.00, between 12.00-14.00, and after 17.30. If location is nearby my house I am more flexible. I work remotely so my availability during the day is always subjected to my meetings' obligations. I will always block my calendar accordingly.
• In case the bunnies receive treatment (I.e., medication post sterilisation), I am happy to give it as I know how to insert a syringe in the little mouths. I won't take responsibility for bunnies that have just been in stasis and are now recovering.
• I can spend 30' each time playing with them, changing the litter box, the water bowl and refreshing the hay. You must indicate me where I leave the dirty litter.
• Overnight stays at my house could be discussed for a higher price of course and only under the condition that I am already familiar with the bunnies you have, they are littered trained, and they stay in a restricted area in my house while I sleep using either a big and comfortable cage you have or a play pen.
• I will only take care of bunnies that are free roamed as bunnies don't belong to cages.

Please note that since bunny is a super sensitive animal itself you must be aware of potential hazards.
