I love animals of all kinds, but I don’t currently have a pet of my own. I grew up with both cats and dogs and have always enjoyed having animals around me. I still regularly spend time with my mum’s and my sister’s pets whenever I get the chance.

That’s one of the main reasons I joined Pawshake: I genuinely enjoy being around animals and would love the opportunity to spend more time with other people’s pets.

For me, pet sitting is about enjoying the company of an animal. I work mostly in home office, and I can give a pet plenty of attention during the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods.

I live together with my wife and our 11-year-old son, so pets staying with us would be part of a small family household in the afternoons and evenings.

Depending on what works best for you and your pet, I can either look after them at my home or visit them at their own home, as long as you live reasonably close by. I’m also happy to take dogs for walks or keep them company during the day.

Cats and smaller pets can also stay overnight at our place. For dogs, I would generally prefer daytime care, walks or visits rather than overnight stays.

Most importantly, I want your pet to feel comfortable and relaxed. I’m happy to meet beforehand so that you, your pet and I can get to know each other and see whether it’s a good fit. 🐶🐱
