About me > Hi! MI name is Catalina and I'm from Costa Rica. I'm currently living in Cologne because I'm doing my master's degree at the University of Cologne.

I'm the mom of a 13-years old cat name Puki, who is currently in Costa Rica with my boyfriend. I miss him every day (Puki, I mean... my boyfriend too, but honestly, mostly Puki hehe). 

I grew up surrounded by animals: dogs, chickens, rabbits, and even sheeps, which is not very common in Costa Rica. Dogs have always been an important part of my life. Later in life, I also learned to understand and deeply love cats. I could say that I was introduced to the "sect" haha.

Since I have some free time here and I truly love animals, I tought pet sitting would be a wonderful way to earn some extra income while spending time with animals, which makes me super hapy.

I speak English and Spanish. I'm taking German classes, but I'm still learning.

My services > I offer pet care exclusively in your home, so your pet can stay in the place where they feel safest and most comfortable, and I can adapt to their usual routine. For pets, repecting their everyday rituals is very important for their well-being and emotional stability. My services include: 

• 60-minute dog walks
• 60-minute home visits for cats
• Daytime care, including feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, brushing, oral medication administration, etc. 
• Overnight stays in your home. 

Experience with Cats and Dogs > I have lifelong experience with dogs, but I also have a lot of experience with cats. As a cat owner myself, I know how to monitor their mood and health, recognize when something seems off, and administer medication when needed. Some pets are very playful, while others are shy or independent. I always respect their personality and take the time to earn their trust.

Safety and Emergencies > I recently completed an online Pet First Aid course, and before every service, I make sure to have emergency contact numbers and locate the nearest veterinary hospital. I can also send photos and updates during each visit so you know your pet is doing well.

Availability> As a master’s student, I have a flexible schedule and can often accommodate walks, visits, daytime care, and overnight stays depending on your location.

My Commitment > I am very careful about following instructions and paying attention to every detail. I know that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. If you trust me to care for your cat-child or dog-child, they will be treated with love, patience, and respect <3
