My name is Deisy Espinola Mequer, I am 23 years old and originally from Paraguay. I am currently living in Germany, where I am doing an internship as part of my studies.

I decided to become a dog sitter because I truly miss my three dogs back home. I have experience taking care of them daily, including feeding, walking, playing, and understanding their different personalities. For me, dogs are part of the family, and I always treat them with love, patience, and respect.

During the week, I have my internship from Monday to Friday, but my schedule can be flexible and sometimes I finish early. I make sure to organize my time so dogs are well cared for, with walks and attention before and after my activities. On weekends, I am usually free, and I enjoy spending time outdoors or relaxing at home, which allows me to dedicate more time and attention to the dogs.

I usually offer 1–3 walks per day, depending on the dog’s needs and the owner’s preferences. I also include playtime, rest time, and constant attention to make sure they feel comfortable and happy.

At home, I have a private room of 27 m², where dogs can stay comfortably. If needed, the dog would sleep in my room so they feel safe and accompanied. However, I mainly prefer to offer dog walking services in the park, where I can dedicate quality time and attention to each dog.

Regarding supervision, I prefer not to leave dogs alone for long periods. I like to be present with them as much as possible so they feel safe and calm.

For dogs with anxiety or who are shy, I am very patient and gentle. I try to create a safe and stable environment, follow their usual routine, and give them time to adapt. I avoid stressful situations, give them space when needed, and use a calm and reassuring approach so they can feel secure.

In case of an emergency, I stay calm and act quickly. I would contact the owner immediately and, if necessary, take the dog to a veterinarian, always following the owner’s instructions.

I am flexible and adapt to each dog’s needs, including feeding schedules, activity level, and personality. My goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and at home.

I can communicate in English, and although my German is still basic, I am improving every day.
