I’m a lifelong dog lover with a special fondness for rescue dogs and big breeds like German Shepherds. I recently lost my beloved dog, Cato, whom I cared for his entire life — from a scared rescue puppy to a boisterous, high-energy adolescent, through his precious senior years and health challenges until he passed at 14. 

Last year, I adopted another German Shepherd mix, Cosmo, and I’m happily starting the journey all over again 🩷. He’s currently a playful 1-year-old puppy, so I can only host one additional dog at a time, and they must be friendly and comfortable around other dogs. 

I have years of hands-on experience, particularly with large dogs, seniors, and those needing medication or extra attention. I know all the best dog-friendly spots in Berlin, from charming city parks to the idyllic lakes of Grünau and Grunewald. I understand how to read their body language, respect their routines, and ensure they feel safe and comfortable.

I live in a 60sqm ground-floor (no stairs!) apartment, which is especially helpful for older dogs or those with mobility issues. My home has a small private terrace and several rugs to provide a secure, non-slip surface. Dogs are always welcome on the furniture, and I have multiple cosy beds available to help them feel at home.
