🐾 About me and my experience

As a passionate dog lover with many years of experience, I offer your four-legged friend reliable and heartfelt care. Dogs have always been an integral part of my life: I grew up with various breeds such as Dachshunds, German Shepherds, and Jack Russell Terriers, and I had my own beloved Jack Russell until the beginning of this year. I truly miss dog care, but I am not yet ready for a new one of my own.

I am particularly familiar with the care and support of senior dogs and those with special needs. My own senior dog lived to be 17 years old and was physically restricted and demented in his final years – this intensive experience taught me to be especially patient, attentive, and caring. Young dogs and teenage dogs are also very welcome here!

📍 Your Dog at My Place

My apartment is located very close to Volkspark Friedrichshain – the ideal location for extensive and varied walks or a visit to the dog park. I enjoy being outdoors myself and always adjust my routes and the duration of walks to your dog's habits and condition.

I have solid basic equipment for small to medium-sized dogs (various beds and bowls). Please feel free to share the meal plan (intolerances, feeding times, favourite food and snacks) and, if necessary, information about your dog's medication and supplements; I will follow them. Ideally, you should bring your pet's food with you, but please let me know if that is not possible.

My apartment is on a bike street ("Fahrradstraße") and has a balcony – a plus for dogs who like to sunbathe. There is also a fenced green area that belongs to the residential complex, but I would only go there for play; walks will naturally be done elsewhere.

I live with Louis (35), my partner. He lovingly helped me with the care of my dog and his needs during the last two years of his life. Dog care will primarily be my task – however, if I have a doctor's appointment or something similar, Louis will look after the protégé. I prefer that your dog is looked after around the clock.

If your dog stays overnight with me, I will accommodate their needs: if they prefer their peace and space, they will sleep in the living room (I would leave the doors open so I can hear them). If they are rather anxious, their bed can be placed right next to our bed.

Other Animals

Rabbits and guinea pigs can also stay with me (without simultaneous dog care).

🗓 My Availability & Flexibility

I currently work part-time as an event manager (4 days a week). This offers me a lot of flexibility:

• Two days a week I work from home, which allows for almost full-day care.
• For regular guests who can integrate well into my office routine and are compatible with me, there is also the option of taking them to the office by arrangement. You can see a dog running down a hallway in one of the pictures – that is my dog-friendly workplace.

Getting to Know Each Other is Key

It is very important to me that your dog feels comfortable and safe with me. That is why I place great importance on a personal meeting.

• I am happy to offer non-binding introductory walks, also accompanied by you.
• I only offer mobile care (sitting at your home) after a successful introductory meeting to ensure that I can optimally assess your dog's environment and needs.
