A warm and caring companion for your pets 🐾

Hi, I’m Amelie! I’m 30 years old and have been living in Berlin for over 10 years. I studied Literature, Philosophy, and Education, and currently work part-time at a school. I’d love to spend the rest of my week doing something I genuinely enjoy: spending time with animals!

I’ve always loved animals and find so much joy in caring for them. Although I didn’t grow up with dogs or cats, I shared my childhood with lovely rabbits and birds. Later, while studying in Istanbul, I lived with two cats, keeping them fed, playing with them, and enjoying their company. I’m now hoping to get a dog of my own next year, and I’d love to spend more time with dogs in the meantime, get to know their different personalities, and gain more experience.

I’d describe myself as a warm, attentive, and responsible person who understands that every animal has its own needs and character. Whether your pet needs long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply someone calm and reliable to keep them company, I’m happy to adapt to what makes them feel comfortable and safe. ❤️

📍 Where I’m available

I’d especially love to connect with pet owners in Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain, Schöneberg, Alt-Treptow, Neukölln, and Mitte.

I live right by the canal near Schlesischer Busch and Görlitzer Ufer, with plenty of lovely space for dog walks and even a little dog playground nearby!

🐕 My availability and home

I’m available around three days a week, as well as on occasional weekends. My preferred times for pet sitting are mornings, afternoons, and early evenings.

My flat is 46 m², with a spacious living room and enough room for your pet to relax and feel at home. One thing worth mentioning: I live on the sixth floor without an elevator, so this is something to keep in mind, especially for older dogs or pets with mobility issues.

I’m happy to host a maximum of two pets at a time, depending on their needs and compatibility.

💛 Getting to know your pet

I believe good pet sitting starts with trust. I’d love to begin with one or two-hour walks and visits at your home, so we can get to know each other gradually and your pet can become comfortable with me at their own pace.

During our first meeting, I’m happy to learn all about your pet’s personality, routines, favourite activities, food requirements, allergies, and anything else I should know to make sure they feel safe and well cared for.

I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with a beloved member of your family. I’d love to be that person for your pet — someone who brings kindness, patience, and genuine care to every visit.
