I'm an Australian native speaker and creative, running a film production company with my husband remotely here in Berlin. We produced a documentary I directed, Cats of Malta, while living on the island.

I grew up with dogs in Melbourne, but after volunteering at three cat shelters in Malta and making the film with the help of the Maltese cat community, I fell in love with cats and their nature.

Now I’m a full cat convert, and yes, a bit of a cat whisperer. I even adopted a ginger cat in Croatia, and he is my soul cat for life.

An experienced house and pet sitter.
I’ve been house and pet sitting since 2013. I have sat cats and dogs, sometimes together in one home and also birds. What began as a practical way to live independently quickly became something more.

I realised sitting with cats and dogs present was not only about personal freedom; it was enjoyable and rewarding to take on sits all over Melbourne because I became a companion to these beautiful, innocent creatures who relied on me and trusted me each day.

As a cat mum now, I know what it feels like to be away from your baby. You want them to continue their daily routine without too much disruption, and to have all the basics covered across hygiene, safety, and health.
This is where I come in.

Dog walking
I’ve walked dogs through my sitting work and prefer small to medium-sized, calm dogs (I’m 5'1, so let's keep things realistic). I have also walked dogs off-leash, but only when the owner has told me it is possible and sat dogs with allergic reactions on their skin that needed attention. 

Through PawShake, I offer walks in your local area, up to one hour per day. I listen to your instructions and take on all details about your dogs' nature and walking / social style. I'm happy to accommodate any requests on specific parks, routes, leash training, etc.

Cat visits in your home
I’ve cared for every type of cat; clingy, aloof, dramatic, even the ones who open doors or sit on your head at night and hiss. I’m comfortable adapting to each personality, whether that means quiet presence or full-on cuddle time. I've also administered liquid medicine to the bowl of a cat on a daily basis as requested and instructed by the owner.

For cats, bunnies, and your other small pets, I will usually spend about an hour in your home with them, provide meals/snacks, play and engagement time if they allow, clean, and observe their behaviours. Of course, I'll also send you pictures and updates on every visit. For this service, I can visit once or twice a day.
