Hi! My name is Fiona. I’m originally from Canada and I’ve lived in Berlin (Neukölln) for 3 years. 

I run my own online business so my schedule is very flexible and I can work from anywhere (with an internet connection). I love to see new parts of the city so I’m happy to explore further corners, especially if I can get there with my bicycle (within 10km). I’m happy to bring work or a book with me so we can have some quality time together on each visit. If the location is further than 20 mins from my house I would prefer to do an overnight stay instead of multiple visits.

Cats are my favourite. I grew up with them and feel like I know and relate to them very well. I give good head/chin pets and avoid the no-go zones, like feetsies. I enjoy playing with them, figuring out what they like and also when to give them space. I have experience with all sorts of cats of varying levels of neediness — administering any medication (eyedrops, pills, etc.). So if any special attention is required, I’m confident I can handle it. If you need me to water plants or collect the mail while I’m there, I can do that too.

When we came to Berlin we brought with us our beautiful grey tabby, Minou, who sadly passed away from cancer last year. He was the first cat I had as an adult and we had a very special bond, he was my little shadow.
We recently adopted a new friend, Otto, a cuddly little black cat from Belarus, and I’m enjoying getting to know him. 

I will offer daily reports on your cat, with or without pictures, as preferred. I understand it’s never easy to leave your little friend at home so let me know what I can do to make the distance easier for both of you!
