Sitter Description

Hi! My name is Elena, and I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my whole life, especially cats. Being around animals has always been a natural and important part of my daily life. Over the years, I’ve learned how much love, comfort, and value animals bring into people’s lives.

My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible.

Dog Walking

I offer individual walks lasting approximately 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the dog’s age, energy level, and individual needs.

Each walk can include:

• Exercise and a safe walk
• Time to explore and sniff
• Playtime when appropriate
• Fresh water after the walk if needed
• A short update to the owner about how the walk went

I always try to adapt the pace and duration of the walk to the individual dog rather than following the same routine for every pet.

Home Visits

Home visits generally last 30–60 minutes. During a visit, I can:

• Provide food and fresh water
• Clean litter boxes or the pet’s living area
• Play with the pet and provide companionship
• Check that the animal is comfortable and behaving normally
• Follow the owner’s usual care instructions
• Take care of simple pet-related tasks requested by the owner

After the visit, I can also send the owner a short update so they know how their pet is doing.

Overnight / Sleepover Care

I can also provide overnight pet sitting in the owner’s home, allowing pets to stay in their familiar surroundings and keep their usual routine.

Before an overnight stay, I discuss the pet’s daily routine, feeding times, walks, medication requirements, and any other important instructions with the owner.

I understand that some pets are more comfortable with company and regular attention, so I take the amount of time they can safely be left alone into consideration. I will follow the agreed schedule with the owner and avoid leaving a pet alone for longer than we have discussed.

During a stay, I also take care of the owner’s home respectfully. I make sure doors and windows are properly secured when leaving, keep the home tidy, and follow any specific instructions regarding keys, alarms, lights, or other household routines. I will let the owner know promptly if I notice anything unusual with their pet or the home.

Which Pets I Can Care For

I mainly care for dogs and cats, but I can also consider other small pets, such as rabbits and hamsters, depending on their needs and whether I can provide the appropriate care.

I am not able to accept animals that require complex medical treatment or specialised veterinary care unless this has been discussed beforehand and I can safely and appropriately meet those needs.

Availability

I am available Monday to Sunday, with flexible hours by arrangement. I’m happy to arrange walking schedules, home visits, overnight stays, and drop-off/pick-up times in advance.

Leaving your pet with someone is a matter of trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. I treat every animal with patience, kindness, and respect while paying close attention to their safety and individual needs.

I will carefully follow the owner’s instructions, communicate promptly if I notice anything unusual, and do my best to ensure that every pet feels secure, comfortable, and cared for.

My priority is to make both the pet and the owner feel relaxed and confident throughout the entire period of care.
