Hi, I’m Arman! I’ve always liked being around animals. There’s something about them that makes even a normal day better. I’m quite an active person and spend a lot of my free time outside walking or cycling, so pet sitting felt like something I would actually enjoy doing rather than just another side job.

For me, looking after a pet isn’t just feeding them and leaving. Every pet is different. Some dogs could walk forever, while others are done after 20 minutes. Some cats want attention all day, while others are perfectly happy doing their own thing. I’m fine with both and prefer getting to know what each pet actually likes.

I’m happy to care for dogs, cats and other small pets. I currently offer boarding at my home, dog walking and home visits.

For doggy day care, your dog can stay with me during the day while you’re at work, busy or away. During the stay I’ll follow their usual feeding routine, provide fresh water, take them for walks, give them time to play and also let them rest when they want to. I’m flexible with drop-off and pick-up times as long as we agree on them beforehand.

I can also offer house sitting, where I stay at your home with your pet so they can remain in the environment and routine they already know. I’ll take care of feeding, walks, water, playtime and anything else we agree on beforehand. I’ll respect your home, keep doors and windows secured, follow your instructions regarding keys, and make sure everything is properly locked whenever I leave.

I live in an apartment in Berlin. Pets staying with me will be kept inside the apartment and will only go outside with me for walks. They can bring their own bed, blanket, toys, food or anything else that helps them feel comfortable. We can also discuss where your pet normally sleeps so I can keep their routine as familiar as possible.

I don’t want pets staying with me to be left alone for long periods. During boarding or daycare, I can arrange my schedule around the booking and normally won’t leave a pet alone for more than 2–3 hours at a time. If your pet cannot be left alone at all, just let me know before booking and we can discuss whether I can accommodate that.

My availability can change depending on my weekly schedule, so I keep my Pawshake calendar updated and we can always discuss the exact times before confirming a booking. I’ll also tell you beforehand if I need to be away at any point during a boarding stay, so you know how long your pet may be alone.

I’m comfortable with cats, small pets and friendly dogs. For very large or strong dogs, I prefer meeting them first so we can make sure we're comfortable with each other.

If your pet takes medication, please tell me exactly what they need before booking. I’m comfortable giving simple medication when clear instructions are provided, but I won’t claim experience with injections or complicated medical care that I’m not trained to provide.

And please tell me the weird little things too! Their favourite toy, where they like sleeping, what they're scared of, whether they steal food when nobody is looking, or that one specific thing you have to do before they'll eat. Those details genuinely help.

I’m new to Pawshake, so I’m not going to pretend that I have years of professional pet-sitting experience. What I can offer is my time, attention and willingness to learn your pet's routine. I’m also happy to meet you and your pet before the first booking so everyone can feel comfortable.
