Halihalo there fellow pet parent 🌞 My name is Marilena, 24 years old, born and raised in Athens and now happily living in Berlin for a BA in Photography. I grew up in a home (&garden) full of paws, so being around animals has always felt mentally necessary to me. Since moving here in October 2025, I've realized just how much I miss being around 🐶🐱 and to be honest, that was my major motivation to be on Pawshake. I've spent years volunteering at dog shelters in Athens, helping with cleaning, feeding, walking and most importantly, giving as much attention as possible to dogs waiting for their forever homes. Two summers I volunteered at DogsVoice, an emergency shelter that opens after wildfires and takes care of injured animals. I've also fostered two stray dogs I found on the street and yes... one of them was a total foster fail in 2025 🤓 Now she's having the best life with my parents and brother in Athens. I'm calm, patient and very turned in to each animal's character. I love long, slow walks, playtime, belly rubs and also respecting when an animal just wants quiet company. I fully respect others' people houses and will keep it clean and tidy during my accommodation for pet sitting. Last but not least, I of course send plenty of pictures and videos to you, I know how difficult it is to trust a stranger with your baby and I'll do my best to make you feel comfortable. I would be genuinely very grateful if you gave me the opportunity to take care of your little family member and why not, maybe I could take free portraits of it, too, since I'm an aspiring photographer ☺️
