I’ve been interested in animal welfare, training, and behavior since I was a child. Grew up on documentary movies and books about dog behavior, adopted our first dog at age 11, and my journey had begun. Dogs have always fascinated me, they are wonderful creatures, who I love learning about, and who I want to make a better world, and a better understanding for. I had been rescuing animals from the streets, pet stores, and shelters. I rehabilitated and rehomed them. I am still in contact with all of my dog guardians. I always wanted to transform my calling, my passion into my profession.   

My history:

In 2010, I joined an animal rescue organization as a volunteer, I participated in rehoming projects, helped shelter staff write descriptions about the rescue dogs, advertiesed the importance of neutering, and adoption, advocated for animal welfare and ethical animal treatment, held classes for teenagers about dog welfare, participated in adoption days, was a pet sitter multiple times.

In 2011, I graduated from the Animal Protection Guard course in Hungary. In 2012, I applied to an EU grant project by Equipeople in Ireland, where I lived and worked at LittleHill Animal Sanctuary. There I lived and took care of 300 animals of all species. I gained much experience in healing, socialization, adoption, puppy care, rehabilitation, horse care, canine behavior, and communication. I received a Europass as an Animal Caretaker there.

Later in 2012, I obtained KIKVEZ 1 & KIKVEZ 2 Dog Training Manager certification from "Mirror Method ([link hidden]) and worked as a training assistant at the Ormezo Mirror School. 

In 2021, I fostered and rehabilitated an unsocialized, neglected rescue Husky, Woody, with separation anxiety. After a year of working only with positive reinforcement, I raised a happy, attentive, cooperative, well-socialized, healthy, self-confident dog of him.  

In 2021 I gained a scholarship to SciDog Dog University ([link hidden] [link hidden]). I got my second dog trainer certification in 2022. Here I learned about learning theory, dog neurobiology, cognitive psychology, ethology, animal behavior, R+ training, Fear-Free training, veterinary basics, cooperative care, PTSD in dogs, psychological fundamentals in dog training, animal emotions, canine communication, Do as I Do, enrichment, management, preventing and working with dementia in dogs, PORTL, stress reduction, separation anxiety, puppyhood, senior dog’s needs, CCD, sound sensitivity, fireworks- and storm phobia, stereotypical and compulsive behaviors, elimination problems, clicker training, BAT, CAT. 

We learned to recognize, understand, and handle various behavior problems. 

I helped a lot in behavior therapies, city dog training (getting dogs used to city life), did home training, been a side-trainer, held puppy training lessons, and also worked at a doggy daycare.

I constantly train myself and work to be a better professional, and I am on my way to obtaining IAABC and the Fear-Free certifications.
