Hi! I’m a 22-year-old Master’s student in Economics at FAU, recently moved to Nuremberg from Italy. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Although my current apartment doesn’t allow pets, I take every opportunity to spend time with them, whether through pet sitting or volunteering at the Fürth animal shelter. At home, I also care for a planted aquarium, so I’m used to observing animal behavior closely and maintaining a healthy environment with patience and attention to detail. 📚🪴🐠

I’m available throughout the summer until my university lectures begin. Once the semester starts, I’ll still be happy to pet sit and will do my best to fit visits and walks around my class schedule.

What I offer: dog walking, home visits, feeding, companionship for dogs, cats and small pets, as well as basic aquarium care if needed (feeding, water changes and checking water parameters). 🐶🐹

Every animal has its own personality, so I always take time to understand what makes them feel comfortable. With shy pets I let them approach me at their own pace, while energetic ones get plenty of playtime and stimulation. Safety always comes first: I keep dogs on a leash in unfamiliar or busy areas, watch carefully for signs of stress or discomfort, and adapt activities to both the animal’s needs and the weather. During hot summer days, for example, I avoid the hottest hours and choose shaded routes whenever possible.

My walks don’t have a fixed duration because every dog is different, but they are never shorter than 30 minutes. I always adapt the pace, route and length of the walk to the dog’s age, energy level, health and preferences.

I’ve also gained experience caring for pets that needed extra attention. My own dog, Maya, developed dermatitis on her paws as she got older, so I regularly applied treatments following my veterinarian’s instructions. Whenever I’ve noticed something unusual with any of my pets, I’ve never hesitated to contact or visit the vet immediately. I know how important it is to notice small changes before they become bigger problems.

During my first year of university in Aosta, I lived with a wonderful lady who cared for several rescued animals, including a buzzard. Living in such an environment taught me even more about respecting different species, their routines and their individual needs.

A typical visit includes feeding, fresh water, walks if needed, playtime, cuddles (if your pet enjoys them!), and plenty of attention. I also like to keep owners updated before and after each visit, so you’ll always know how your furry friend is doing.

I’m reliable, patient and genuinely love spending time with animals. I’d be delighted to take care of your furry family member as if they were my own. ❤️🐾
