Hi! I’m Maryam, I’m 25 and currently a Master’s student living in Ingolstadt. I’ve grown up with animals my entire life, and being around dogs and cats has always been a normal part of my life. 

Back home, I have two dogs, Gaboo, a German Shepherd, and Beretta, a Doberman. I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember, so I’m very comfortable with the everyday responsibilities that come with them, feeding, walking, playing, keeping them company and making sure they feel safe and cared for.

I also have a Persian cat called Tito, who I honestly miss a lot since moving to Germany. Tito is definitely a character and has taught me a lot about looking after a more high-maintenance pet! He used to have a habit of bolting through doors, so I became extremely careful about entrances and making sure he couldn’t escape. When he was neutered, I also had to give him a lot of extra care and attention while he recovered. He has put me in some stressful situations over the years, but he has also taught me to be patient, attentive and prepared for the little things that come with caring for an animal.

I especially miss the everyday things, playing with Tito, having Gaboo waiting for me when I come home, and simply having my babies around. That’s one of the reasons I’d love to pet sit in Ingolstadt. I feel like we can help each other out: your pet gets someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals, and I get some much-needed company while I’m away from my own.

I’m also very mindful of the practical side of pet care. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime and medication if needed. For walks and home visits, I can generally spend around 30–60 minutes with your pet, depending on their needs. I’m careful about doors, gates and other escape routes, especially because of my experience with Tito, and I would always make sure your pet is safely supervised before leaving. For house sitting, I’m respectful of your home and would keep things clean, secure and in the same condition I found them.

Dogs and cats are what I’m most experienced with, and I’d be especially happy to care for pets that need a little extra patience and attention. My priority is that your pet feels comfortable, safe and cared for while you’re away.
