A bit about me....

Nice to meet you! I’m Julien. I grew up in Cologne to French-American parents, so like my dog Chica, I’m a mutt. I speak German, English, and French, and would love to walk your dog, no matter what language they speak :)

I am a dog and animal lover. My dog Chica, who I trained, loves to play, is full of personality, and knows better than anyone how to bring me into the present. She lives with my mother in France now, so I’m looking to meet and hopefully spend time with dogs in the area. Whenever I visit France, we're sure to hit the Vosges mountains for long nature walks together. Meanwhile, my step-mother, who has owned horses, dogs, and cats, often fosters dogs which we walk together, so I have experience interacting with different dogs and accomodating their varying needs.

I have a Master's in Urban Planning because I'm passionate about building cities for everyone (including dogs). I love connecting with people and animals, so this is an opportunity for me to get to know my neighbours better! 

Dogs bring me joy, and I would love to bring joy to yours too. I have a pawsitive attitude and experience taking care of my dog and younger siblings (I have 4 siblings). Let me know if you have any questions, I'd love to connect! 

My approach...

A) Before any walk, I like to have a conversation to get to know your companion's personality, favourite routes, routine, and any quirks or needs, so I can make sure they’re comfortable and well looked after.

B) Your dog’s safety comes first. I keep dogs on-leash at all times unless we’re in a secure, fenced dog area and you’ve given permission to do so. For park walks, I can also use a longer lead to give them more freedom while staying safe.

C) I walk no more than two dogs (from the same household) at a time, so each dog gets plenty of attention, care, and a calm walking experience.

D) I’m happy to send updates and photos during or after walks, so you know your dog is happy and in good hands.
