I’m a caring and reliable animal lover who truly enjoys spending time with dogs. I love playing with them, going for walks, keeping them active and, of course, giving them plenty of cuddles and attention. I’m happy to adapt to each dog’s personality and energy level, whether they are playful and energetic or prefer a calm and relaxing time.

I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and spent 15 days looking after 9 dogs at the same time in their home. This experience taught me how important it is to be patient, attentive and responsible, while making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable and cared for. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and different personalities.

I believe every pet has their own routine, habits and way of being, and I don’t want to impose my own way of caring on them. Instead, I prefer to follow the routine and instructions that owners have already established, keeping things as familiar and consistent as possible for their pets. I appreciate clear and detailed instructions because they help me provide the best care and make sure I don’t change anything that already works well for the animal.

Walks and activities are always adapted to each dog. Some dogs are happiest with a short, relaxed walk, while others need more exercise and stimulation. Depending on the dog’s personality, fitness level and the owner’s preferences, I can offer longer walks, running, playing with a ball, or even more active outdoor adventures such as hiking. I’m an energetic person and I’m happy to match the dog’s energy when appropriate. I also understand that not every dog needs the same amount of exercise, so I always prioritise their comfort, safety and individual needs rather than following a fixed routine. I’m happy to go out in different weather conditions, as long as it is safe and appropriate for the dog.

During bookings, I’m happy to keep owners updated and communicate clearly about how their pet is doing. I speak English and Portuguese, and I’m also comfortable communicating with people who speak other languages, especially through written messages and translation technology when needed.

For me, caring for a dog is not just about taking them for a walk — it’s about making sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable while their owners are away. I’ll always treat your pet with patience, kindness and respect, while following the care and routine you have established for them. 🐾
