About Lisa

My name is Lisa, I'm 27 years old, and I'm Argentinian. A year and a half ago, I left my country, my family, and my pet to travel around Europe. Today, life has brought me to Berlin, where I want to settle long-term. For now, and in support of that plan, I work as a barista 30 hours a week. The thing is, while it keeps me busy, I really miss having contact with nature and animals like I used to have at home, so it occurred to me: why not take care of pets?

My experience comes from my own: Tuki, my dog who's 8 years old, and Tomi, my cat, who lived with me for 16 years and whom I accompanied in his last days, just as he accompanied me throughout my childhood and adolescente (those naps together were absolutely insane). I've also looked after dogs for families and friends when they go on vacation.

Because I'm working 30 hours a week, I'm usually home most of the day, either reading or watching a movie. Everyday I go for at least, a 30 minute walk by myself, and would be happy to have company. I can do that 3 times a day if needed.

My schedule is really flexible, I don't party and my shift are 5 hours a day, so the pets won't be alone for more than that. I work 5 days a week, and 2 off. A typical day for me would be waking up at 7:30, going for a walk, having breakfast at home and reading a bit. I clean, and prepare my mean for the day. I go out to work around 11:30, and I'm back home 18:30 (I'm living a little far away from my job unfortunately). I get home and shower, take my German classes, study and go out to buy dinner. The days I'm off, I'm usually out getting to know the city, and again, company is not only accepted but appreciated.

I'm kind and patient with animals, you can reach me at any time at least half of the day to talk to them.

I'm open to learning new ways to handle each pet's needs, and very meticulous when it comes to their routine. I can send pictures with their eating times and walks. I will also have emergency contact available in case it's needed.

When it comes to house sitting, I'm used to living in other people's houses so I'm very very clean and respectful, I follow the rules I'm given and try to leave the place as if I wasn't there.

I don't smoke.
