Hello! My name is Yasmin and I spent 4 years studying Zoology (animal science). I am obsessed with animals of all types and have dedicated my life to wanting to work with them and to help them. I have owned pets my whole life (mainly cats) and also have experience working in a zoo in south Ireland (Fota Wildlife Park), here I learned a lot about animal husbandry, feeding the animals and monitoring their behaviour. I also spent a lot of time looking after Rhinos! So looking after your pet will be a walk in the park (literally!). I really want to become a pet sitter because I find great pleasure in being with animals. Dogs have always naturally gravitated towards me. I'm very patient and also have experience in dealing with anxious dogs and cats. One dog I spent time looking after had just come out of a shelter and would cower if you raised your hand and ran away if you got close. After a day or two with me she ended up sleeping next to me under a blanket. I would love to maintain that connection to nature in the city as I recently moved from the countryside in Ireland to Berlin.
