Hello, I’m Meryem!

I’m a lifelong animal lover and live with two lovely cats. I also feed the birds that visit my balcony, so caring for animals is a natural part of my daily life.

Although I have never had a dog of my own, I have previous dog-walking experience. During my university years, I completed dog-walking training with a dog-walking app named DogGo and regularly walked dogs through their platform. I would now love to start doing it again in Berlin.

FOR DOG PARENTS:
I can walk small and medium-sized dogs weighing up to 20 kg. Walks can usually be between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on your dog’s age, energy level and usual routine. I am happy to follow your dog’s familiar route and generally prefer quiet streets, parks and green areas.

For safety reasons, I do not use thin retractable or extendable leashes. Please provide a secure, fixed-length leash that is suitable for your dog. I also prefer to walk one dog at a time, unless the dogs are from the same household and are already comfortable walking together.

Before the first booking, I would like to meet you and your dog so I can learn about their routine, behaviour, commands and any situations that may make them nervous or reactive. During walks, I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, keep a safe distance from possible triggers and never let a dog off the leash.

In an emergency, I will contact you immediately and follow the veterinary and emergency instructions you provide. I will also send you a short update and photos after each walk or home visit.

FOR CAT PARENTS:

I can also visit your cats at home while you are away. During each visit, I can:

* Refresh their food and water

* Clean the litter box

* Play with them and keep them company

* Send you photos and updates

* Water your plants if needed

As a freelancer, my schedule is flexible. I can help with occasional bookings as well as regular daily or weekly routines. I organise bookings with enough travel time between appointments, so visits and walks are not rushed or overlapping.

I know how important it is to feel confident that your pets are safe and comfortable while you are away. I will follow their usual routine carefully and treat them with the same attention I give my own cats.
