Hello, I'm from Brighton, England, moving to Berlin! If you don't know Brighton, it's kind of the San Francisco of the U.K. I'm currently residing at EastSeven Berlin Hostel in Prenzlauer Berg as a volunteer but I will be moving out at the end of September. I'm looking for somewhere to stay while I search for an apartment of my own, and my friend who is a pet sitter suggested that I do the same! I truly love all animals, including the neglected ones (rats are my favourite, I even have a little rat tattoo). I have always grown up with dogs and cats, so I understand what is required to care of various breeds. As a child, we owned a Springer Spaniel which required plenty of exercise and discipline. Her name was Coco. Later in life we adopted a Greyhound which was a nice change of pace from our Spaniel :') His name was Scratch. A few years ago my mum adopted a puppy Bision Fraise which required lots of attentive care and training. These days, Sky is happy and loved and always excited to see me when I come home to visit. In my previous apartment in Berlin, I lived with a beautiful Belgian Shepard named Kaylee. On most days, me and my flatmate (her owner) would take her for walks to the various parks in Pankow. I would also feed her and take her outside when the owner was not home. I have been told many times in my life that I have a way with animals. Cats and dogs who don't normally warm up to people will warm to me very quickly. I believe this is because I respect their boundaries and individual needs. I have done pet sitting for friends and family, but this would be my first time pet sitting as a service. So, please let me know if there is anything that you think that I should know about this arrangement. And please get in touch! Thanks!
