I love dogs :) It's very simple phrase, but it's true. Maybe because I haven't own dog, but I know that when I have possibilities I'll have the own one. It means that I can be a great companion for your friend (your dog). I walked with dogs of my friends, so, I have that experience. They love me too, because I play with them and running :)
