Hi, I’m Ank Palmer! I’m a freelance dance teacher living right here in Berlin, and I am absolutely thrilled to share my lifelong love for animals with your beloved pets. Having lived in Indonesia and Australia before moving to Germany, I’ve been fortunate enough to share my life with some incredible furry companions, including my own Golden Retriever and Greyhound. I deeply miss the daily joy and unique companionship that pets bring into a home, which is exactly why I became a pet sitter. In addition to my deep love for dogs, I have a special bond with cats; growing up, our neighborhood's free-roaming cats would always flock to my house because they truly enjoyed my calm, welcoming presence.

Energetic Dog Walking (30-45 Minutes): As a freelance dance teacher, I have plenty of stamina and energy! I offer active, highly stimulating walks through Berlin’s beautiful parks, completely tailored to your dog’s natural pace. Whether they require a fast-paced, athletic Greyhound stride or a leisurely, thorough Golden Retriever sniff-session, I adjust to them. Safety is my top priority: I keep dogs strictly on-leash at all times, maintain high situational awareness to avoid sudden hazards or reactive dogs, and ensure they stay well-hydrated throughout our route.

Drop-In Visits (30-45 Minutes): Ideal for cats or independent dogs. I will visit your home to refresh food and water, scoop the litter box, and offer plenty of high-quality playtime, cuddles, and companionship.

Overnight House Sitting: I will stay at your place to maintain your pet’s exact routine in their own comfortable environment. This includes morning and evening walks, feeding schedules, and lots of evening couch cuddles so they never feel lonely.

I take the safety of your furry family members incredibly seriously. Before our first booking, I will ask you for your primary veterinarian's details, the nearest 24/7 emergency animal hospital, and your preferences on emergency medical spending limits.

If an unexpected situation or medical emergency arises while your pet is in my care, I follow a strict protocolAssess & Stabilize: I stay calm, remove the pet from any immediate danger, and administer basic first aid if necessary.Immediate Veterinary Care: If the situation is urgent, I will transport your pet to your designated vet or the nearest 24/7 emergency clinic right away.Owner Notification: I will call you immediately from the clinic (or route) to keep you completely informed and discuss next steps with the veterinarian.

I know how tough it is to be away from your pets, so I make sure you never have to wonder how they are doing. You can expect regular, daily updates from me.For Walks & Drop-Ins. I will send you a quick text summary right after our session, complete with a couple of fun photos or videos of your pet in action, letting you know they are safe, happy, and have done their business. For House Sitting, I typically send a morning update and an evening update with photos, so you can see exactly how relaxed and well-cared-for they are in real time.

Because I work as a freelance dance teacher, my schedule is incredibly flexible. I am often available during the middle of the day when standard office workers are busy, as well as on weekends. While I do my pet sitting directly in your home or out in the neighborhood, my flexible hours mean your pet will never be left alone for long stretches. I am highly reliable, respectful of your home space, and fully committed to making your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while you are away.
