I’m a genuine animal lover: I really enjoy being around dogs and cats. Unfortunately, I haven’t had pets of my own growing up, but I was lucky enough that during my two stays abroad I lived with host families that had both dogs and cats and naturally took care of them simply because I loved having them around.

In my first stay, the family had three dogs, a puppy poodle, an adult Cavalier King Charles, and a senior golden retriever, as well as two cats. I would feed them, play with them, and take care of their daily needs, enjoying their company as part of everyday life. During my second stay, I cared for a 5 year old dog by walking, feeding, washing, and playing with it, and also spent time with their cat.

Additionally, growing up I had friends with dogs and I loved going on walks with them and play with their dogs (especially instead of studying ;) ).

Now, I'm doing an interniship here in Ghent and I work from home three days a week, which allows me to be present and give pets consistent attention throughout the day. As it it is an internship, I have some less busy moments that I would happily dedicate to keeping your pet company and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. 

Unfortunately, I don't speak Dutch (or Flamish), but I'm fluent in English and French (and Italian, my mother-tongue).
