hi <3 i’m micaela - 27, based in berlin, working in event management (which means i have a pretty flexible schedule).

i grew up with animals, so being around them has always felt natural to me. our family dog Giacomo (a shepherd/bernie mix) was the calmest soul, and our grey cat Ugo was cool, soft and unbothered - growing up with them has given me the best childhood memories. my grandparents and other family members have also had a fair share of their pets, so our households have always had animals in them.

i used to want to become a veterinarian when i was younger (until i realized what the real job is…), but that instinct to care for animals has always been there. i see animals as gentle beings and i generally feel i connect with them very easily because im a sensitive person. i love to get to know an animal and understand their personality to then know what are their needs.

i’m estonian and grew up close to nature, surrounded by animals, which shaped how i connect with them-calm, intuitive, and respectful of their space. one of the reasons why i would love to be a pet sitter is also just to be generally more active and explore the city a bit more - why not with a furry best friend next to me? :)

i’m reliable when it comes to routines (feeding, walks, specific instructions), quick to react if anything feels off, and i like to send regular updates so you feel at ease while you’re away.
