Hi! I’m Dou, and I’ve been around animals for most of my life. I grew up with cats and have also had a dog, worked as a dog sitter, and cared for birds and even an iguana.

Caring for animals feels very natural to me. I enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality and adapting to what makes them feel comfortable.

I also have experience with pets that need extra care. One of my cats had a chronic eye condition, so I’m comfortable with daily care routines and giving medication when clear instructions are provided. I can give pills, eye drops, and ear drops. I’m also comfortable with brushing, basic grooming, and cleaning around the eyes and ears. With calm and cooperative cats, I can also trim nails.

Dog walks are adapted to each dog’s age, energy level, and usual routine. Walks can range from around 30 to 90 minutes. For very active dogs, longer walks of up to 90 minutes can also be arranged for an additional fee. I’m happy to go to parks, quieter streets, or on longer walks. Most importantly, I adapt to what the dog enjoys and is used to.

Home visits are normally around 60 minutes and can include feeding, fresh water, litter or basic cleaning, medication if needed, playtime, cuddles, and general care.

If a pet stays with me, I organize my day around their needs, and they normally wouldn’t be left alone for more than about two hours.

I’m very observant of animals and usually notice quickly when their behavior or needs change. My priority is always to create a calm, clean, and safe environment where they can feel comfortable.

I’ve also been present during cat and dog births, especially with cats, so I’m familiar with the process and with recognizing when extra attention or professional help may be needed.

Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Taking care of them is something that truly makes me happy.
