I’m Melissa, and I’ve been living in Hamburg for five months. Right now, I’m focusing on my German course, so I’m very flexible during the week and completely free on weekends.

Loving animals is part of my DNA. My mom has welcomed more than 12 stray cats into her home in Ecuador over the years. She fosters them, feeds them, gets them neutered, and keeps looking for loving families to adopt them. In the meantime, they have a safe and loving home. 🤍

I have a little cat of my own named Lea, who thankfully moved to Hamburg with me and my husband. ❤️ I also had a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog named Heidi, who sadly passed away a few years ago. I miss her so much. 🤍

Thanks to Heidi, I have plenty of experience with large dogs and know how much love, patience, and care they need.

Besides my own pets, I’ve also cared for cats and dogs for friends and family.

I have plenty of time and flexibility for home visits.

Depending on your pet’s personality, our time together can include lots of playtime, cuddles, feeding, fresh water, and cleaning the litter box. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible.

For dogs, I’m happy to adjust the walk depending on what your pup needs — whether that’s a short walk around the neighborhood or a longer adventure around Hamburg. 🐶

I'm mostly in der Innenstadt, in Hammerbrook, in Hafen City and around the Alster, but I'm absolutely open to move around the city!

I also love communicating with international pet parents! I speak fluent English, Spanish and Portuguese, and I’m currently learning German at B1 level.

I’d love to meet you and your four-legged friend and give them the same love and attention I’d want for my own pets.
