I grew up with dogs, we always had them at home, so they’ve been part of my life for as long as I can remember. That’s over 30 years of everyday experience, not professional, just real life: walks, feeding, routines, playtime, and a lot of time around dogs with very different personalities.

I’m calm and patient, and I pay attention. Every dog is different, and I try to actually understand what a specific dog needs to feel safe, instead of just running through a fixed routine. I stick as closely as possible to what the dog is already used to at home.

I usually take one guest dog at a time, so I can give them proper attention. A second dog is possible if they get along well, but only after a real introduction, not just assumed.

Walks are normally 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the dog’s age and energy. I can do several walks a day, morning, afternoon, evening, adjusted to what the dog needs. I’m home a lot, so my day genuinely revolves around the dog I’m looking after. For boarding, alone time is max 3 hours, for daycare max 1 hour.

I live with my dog Apollo, so a meet-and-greet beforehand matters to me. I only take a booking if I’m sure it’s a good and relaxed match for everyone.

I can give medication if the instructions are clear, tablets with food or similar. I don’t do professional training or grooming, but basic things like brushing or cleaning paws after a walk, no problem.

Dogs are family to me. I’ll treat yours the way I’d want mine treated.
