Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up surrounded by pets and really value the joy they bring to my life. While I’m not currently in a position to have a pet of my own due to limited space, I would love the opportunity to bring a little more animal love into my life by helping you care for yours!

I’ve previously cared for the dogs of family and friends, including the little Chihuahua in my pictures, who belongs to my mother. I’ve looked after him on many occasions while she’s been away. He experiences some separation anxiety, which is something many dogs can struggle with, so I keep him comfortable and engaged with plenty of playtime, treats, and walks. At the same time, I pay close attention to the ways he communicates when he would rather stay home, have some quiet time, or simply enjoy a cuddle.

I’ve also cared for younger pets belonging to friends and have experience with a range of personalities, from energetic dogs who need lots of activity to more anxious or sensitive ones who need a gentler approach. The most important thing to me is paying attention to a pet’s individual signals and respecting their boundaries rather than pushing them beyond what they’re comfortable with. I approach animals with patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to understand what makes them feel safe and happy.

I also have extensive experience working with children, which has taught me how important it is to adapt my approach to different personalities. I bring that same patience and attentiveness to caring for animals. 

I’m happy to tailor my care to whatever your needs may be. Whether that means taking your dog for a fun walk, providing company while you’re away, or offering overnight care in your home, I’m flexible and happy to help.

I understand that leaving your pet in someone else’s care can be a big decision, so my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for.
