Hi, my name is Lauren. I live with my Finnish husband in Lauttasaari. I am half french-half finnish. I can speak some Finnish, but not fluently. I speak french and english fluently.

I grew up with family pets: A dog (rottweiler) and two cats. I have always wanted to have a dog of mine and my dream came true in 2022. We adopted an american cocker spaniel named Telma. However, Telma tragically left us this march 2026 due to Cancer. I am too heartbroken right now to adopt a new pet but being in the presence of dogs brings me joy. I want to keep spreading the love I had for my sweet Telma to other dogs that need it by caring for them.

I love spending time with dogs, as i find it therapeutic. I love being outdoors and going on long or shorter walks. I live in Vattuniemi near the beach and shores. It is easy to go on walks from my place.

I have experience with different sized dogs and am familiar with reactivity to certain triggers. I am open to hear about your dog's needs. I am also eager to teach tricks to your dog if you'd like.

I have plenty of dog toys so I am sure your little buddy will find one s/he likes and am happy to play with them as well.

There are plenty of sleeping placing here. My couch is accessible, I also have a dog bed.

If your dog requires a special diet that would require me preparing food, I am also open to that.

I live in a fairly sized appartment. A small or medium dog have plenty of room to play. A big dog will easily move here but might not be able to play as much. I have a small balcony as well.

I have the possibiliy to work from home so I am available during the day to walk your best friend while you are away if you live in Lauttasaari area or in the evening as well. I am happy to welcome your dog as well for an extended period of time if you need to travel.

Unfortunately my husband is allergic to cats so I can only welcome dogs into my home. However if you live in Lauttasaari area and need someone to feed your cat and spend time with them once or twice a day, I am happy to do so! I have done that a few times for friends and neighbours.
