About Dimitri

Hello! I'm Dimitri and I recently moved to Berlin where I now live with my partner.

Moving to Berlin also meant separating from my beloved dog Nessie, who's now taking good care of my mom in Italy. As an animal lover and dog owner myself, I have always had a strong passion for caring for animals and a great understanding for pet owners needs and worries. As a professional photographer I love taking portraits of any kind of animals and I'll be glad to send you regular, beautiful pics of your pet while you are away!

I grow up with in a little town, sorrounded by nature and animals. My family and friends always had pets I felt really close to and I consider my sweet dog Nessie almost like a little sister. During this time, I have gained valuable knowledge on animal behavior, nutrition, and health care, which I use to ensure the well-being of every pet under my care. That said, I'm not a professional educator so I won't discipline your pets but simply make sure they feel safe and loved.

About my services

  • In addition to providing pet sitting services in the owner's home, I also offer a comfortable and safe environment in my own home for pets to stay while their owners are away.

  • The flat is quite small but comfortable and well lit, ideal for small and medium (till 18 Kg) dogs and cats. I can take only one dog or cat at the time. Both of them if they come from the same household and are used to each other.

  • I would prefer a one-day-try with the dog, before taking them for a longer period of time.

  • My partner and I work from home, so due to our activities I can't take extremely energetic dogs, but there are parks within walking distance where I can take them for a good run and some play time.

  • I'll be using a leash for all walks on the streets.

  • As a precaution and to ensure the safety of my partner and all animals under my care, I only take vaccinated pets into my home.

  • I can visit animals at their home twice a day when they are less than 3 Km far from my place.

    • Overall, my goal as a pet sitter is to provide peace of mind to pet owners by providing reliable and compassionate care to their furry friends. I am committed to making sure that every pet under my care is happy, healthy, and loved.

    Dimitri and Sara were great, they were very sweet to my dog and sent tons of photos. Felt totally comfortable leaving my dog with them for a long weekend and will definitely reach out to them again.
