✅️ My Personal Experience with Pets

I have always loved animals and happily remember my fearless childhood Pinscher, Felton - a clever, energetic, and unforgettable furry friend 🐶❤️🐕

Over the years in Germany, I have also enjoyed the company of Henry 🐶, whom my boyfriend co-parents with his former partner and who stays with us on a weekly basis. In addition to caring for Henny, we also regularly look after our neighbors' dogs from time to time.

Until June 2024, I also shared my days with Lily 🐱, my boyfriend's beloved cat. After a long and happy 19 years, she crossed the Rainbow Bridge 🌈. Caring for her in her final days - feeding her, medicating, and closely monitoring her - was emotionally challenging but incredibly meaningful and rewarding. Lily also taught me that I am not only a dog person but very much a cat person too 😸❣️

🐾 My Approach as a Pet Sitter: Personalized & Individual Care  

Animals bring so much affection, companionship, and joy into our lives, and spending time with them is genuinely fulfilling for me. At the same time, I take the responsibility of caring for someone else's beloved pet very seriously. When your pet is in my care, I treat them with the same attention and affection I would want for my own fur-baby.

My care is not simply about feeding and walking your pet. I pay close attention to their personality, habits, comfort, and individual needs. Depending on your pet and your wishes, this can include medication administration, longer walks/playtime, plenty of individual attention, following their usual routine as closely as possible, and any special requirements you share with me.

My priority is to help your pet feel safe, comfortable, protected, and loved during your absence 🔑 

I intentionally provide individual care for one pet at a time, or two pets from the same household, rather than caring for groups of unrelateda pets. This allows me to give your fur-baby plenty of personal attention and adapt the care to their individual personality and needs.

🤝 Free 20-30 minutes Meet & Greet

Before caring for a new pet, I offer a free 20–30 minute getting-to-know-each-other session. This gives us the opportunity to see whether I am the right sitter for your fur-baby and, importantly, gives your pet the chance to become familiar with me. During our meeting, I would love to learn about their:

• feeding and walking routine;
• personality and usual behavior;
• commands and favorite activities or games;
• fears, sensitivities, or triggers;
• medication or special care requirements;
• veterinarian and emergency contact;
• any other needs, preferences, or expectations you would like me to know.

📸 Updates While You'are Away

All my services include regular updates about your beloved fur-baby, including photos/videos and messages, so you can enjoy your time away knowing how they are doing.

For longer stays, I can also provide a detailed end-of-service update about their meals, walks, mood, activities, medication (if applicable), and anything noteworthy I observed.

🏡 House Sitting

When house sitting, I am also happy to help with small household tasks such as watering your plants and collecting your mail, so you can return to both a happy pet and a cared-for home.

🌎 A Little About Me

I am Brazilian 🇧🇷 and currently a doctoral candidate living in Ehrenfeld with my German boyfriend 🇩🇪. Previously, I have also lived in Finland 🇫🇮. My schedule is flexible, and I am happy to discuss your pet's particular routine and needs. I speak Portuguese and English, some German, and can also understand Spanish.
