hey Leute! I am a 25 year old person who moved to Berlin last winter. about me; my name's Ceylin, I'm from İstanbul and I work part time as a babysitter. (not an au pair, have my own place) 

I adopted my first love, Turta (pie in Turkish) 13 years ago. He was an all black Labrador next to his golden retriever puppy siblings, so we brought him home. He was a little over 12 when he left this world. He was my first love and will always be. I was with him all his life. Even though his puppy years were a joy to experience, watching him get old and have a personality made me so happy. 

I also co-parented a cat for my last two years living in Turkey.  Tarçın (cinnamon in Turkish) was a 9 year old male cat that my flatmate adopted from the streets. I call myself the co-parent because it was always obvious I was the second favorite after my flatmate, tho this never bothered me. I get to see how I can bond with an older cat, respect their boundaries, become the secondary care giver and finally become their love as well. 
I can easily say, I am more experienced with older animals but I'm not an ageist lol.

I lived my whole life in Istanbul where streets are full of cats and dogs. Of course not all of them have a good time living in the streets, but our culture is so engraved with it. I sometimes just miss petting an animal and laying down with them, brushing their fur and kinda slaving my life for them.
