Coucou, my name is Penny. I am an artistic researher, writer and dramaturg based in Berlin. I am currently finishing my doctoral research at Free Univeristy Berlin. As a relational individual with a deep passion for animals, extensive experience in caring for cats, dogs, animals of various kinds, and a background in inter-species communication, I am confident in my ability to provide exceptional care and companionship to your furry friends. Through my personal experiences of growing up with two cats, one dog, fish, birds, squrriels... I have learned to understand their needs, emotions, and behaviors, allowing me to provide the utmost care and attention to their well-being.

One of my unique 'gifts' is my knowledge of inter-species communication, which is also part of my research and practice. I have dedicated time to studying and learning various methods of understanding and communicating with animals, enabling me to establish a deeper connection and mutual understanding. This "mother tongue" allows me to sense their needs and to respond effectively to their cues, creating a trusting and fulfilling experience for both animals and their human friends.

I am also a mindful and cautious being. For home sitting, I will respect and take care of your space as my own. In this regard, you might find the home-sitting rate could be a bit higher than average. This is due to the consideration of the "care-labour" -- meaning the amount of care that I would put into the while living in at your place. Apart from taking care of your ferry friends, I will also pay attention to all the living beings inhabiting at your place, as well as maintaining your space, to keep it clean, tidy and alive. I will normally do a big clean session before you return your home and try my best to leave little trace as possible. For longer period of house sitting, I will send out discounts and will be open for negotiating a reasonable exchange for both of us.
