Hallo Hamburgers!

My name is Melita, and I am a 23-year-old Master’s student currently finishing my thesis. Since I spend a lot of time working from home, I would love to share that time with your pet, whether that’s your dog or cat, and, of course, give them the care, attention, and company they deserve in return. I would also be very happy take your pets for a walk or visit them at your home as due to the nature of my work I appreciate any opportunity to get out of the apartment :) 

I have a dog back home in Lithuania, and I truly miss the daily interaction I have with her when I'm at my family home. Being around animals makes me feel more at home, which is why pet sitting feels like a very natural fit for me. I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets, whether that means going for walks, playing, or simply keeping them company and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. Back home, this was part of my daily routine, especially playing catch with my dog Tuce, who is completely obsessed with all kinds of balls!

I have experience caring for my own dog and previously owned pets such as fish, rabbits, and hamsters. I have also had taken care of multiple of my friends pets (cats, and dogs seen in the pictures on my profile) while they were away. I understand how important routines, trust, and clear genuine communication are when caring for someone else’s pet, and I am very attentive to details and any specific instructions you may have regarding your animal’s care.

I live with my partner, who loves animals just as much as I do and is equally gentle and caring around them. She, just like me, has also lent a hand to multiple of her friends taking care of their pets long and short term while her friends were away. She has previously owned 2 ferrets, a cat, as well as multiple hamsters and mice. You will also see some recent photos of us together with animals (including my own dog and some of the pets she's taken care of) on my profile.

For the safety and wellbeing of everyone, I prefer to care for vaccinated pets. I can promise that I will always look after your pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel loved, calm, and at ease while you are away.
