Nice to meet you! I’m Soyeon — I’ve been based in Berlin for nearly a decade now. I’m a huge dog lover, but since I work remotely and travel quite a bit, I’m not at a stage where I can responsibly have a dog of my own just yet. I’ve looked after friends’ dogs here and there and absolutely loved it (they seemed to love it too), and that’s how I found out about Pawshake.

What I really enjoy is the rhythm of sharing a daily routine with a dog. Since I work from home, your pet will have my company throughout the day— my favorite moments are our walks and time outside. I usually go out three times a day: a morning walk to start the day, a midday stretch, and a calm evening walk before bed. If your dog has lots of energy, I’d also be happy to go for runs!

I grew up with a dog in my family, so I’m very comfortable having one around. I’d describe myself as patient and calm, and I do my best to create a space where pets feel safe and relaxed. My home is quiet and pet-free, which helps with that.

I can communicate in English and basic German, and I’m always happy to follow the specific cues and routines your dog is used to. I’ll send regular updates with photos and videos—I know how much it means to stay connected while you’re away.

Notes on Dog Size:

I’m most comfortable with small to medium-sized dogs. I’ve previously cared for friend's larger dogs, such as Labradors and Border Collies, in open countryside settings. However, in the city, I prefer dogs I can confidently handle in all situations. Generally, dogs up to around 10 kg are the best fit for me.
